Paddle Powers 2012
Luke traded in his football cleats, pads and helmet for a pair of board shorts and a paddle for the winter sports period. He is one of the two engine room paddlers of the JV paddling team at HPA. It is quite a switch going from the gridiron to an outrigger but he is enjoying it. His first race was a three mile ironman in Kailua Bay.
Lukes sister Leilani was there at the end of his race to congratulate him and let me grab a quick shot of the tired boy and his big sister.
