Two Down & One To Go
My second born, Kailana Powers, graduated from Hawaii Preparatory Academy last week. If you have followed my blog you know what a wonderful school HPA is and how lucky all of my kids have been to go there. This year was Kai's year, three years from now will be Lukes.
The graduation ceremony starts with a beautiful Baccalaureate ceremony in the school chapel the night before graduation.
Here is my daughter Kailana preparing to enter the chapel along with her class
Kailana's grandma flew in from Southern California for her granddaughters graduation.

Here is my daughter receiving her diploma
Every year the graduating class sings a beautiful Hawaiian song of celebration for their class and dances a beautiful hula to their future.
The graduating class then files from the gym and walks to the school yard where they are greeted by friends and family who place lays upon there necks.

Here is a shot of me and my mom. If it weren't for her and my Dad my kids would never have the opportunity to go to such a wonderful school.
Mahalo Mom and Dad!
