Braceless and Legal

Luke is now, after two years, braceless and for the first time legal. He passed his drivers test today and is now a driver!

Within minutes of arriving home he let me know he was going to the movies with a bunch of his buddies. "Did you want to take the Excursion?" I asked. "Could I?" He asked back. "Sure,  just don't bend it or get arrested."

And so it begins. The last of my three kids no longer needs me to drive him to the movies. Don't quite know whether I'm happy or sad.

Did I mention that my buddy Captain Curt just told me his wife is once again pregnant. His third child with Carrie will be born next spring and Curt will turn the keys over to him for the first time this time of year in 2030. Better you that me Curt. I'm done.
