Last week while on my way back from Waimea I saw the clouds open above Mauna Kea and got a quick glimpse of the start of a snowstorm at the summit. The only camera I had was on my cell phone so I stuck it out the window and snapped this shot doing 60 MPH past the Waimea Airport.
The clouds closed in shortly there after and ended up dropping over a foot of snow on the mountain...in JUNE! Global warming strikes us again.
