When I was in high school there was no such thing as a girls water polo team. There's even girls wrestling in high school now, I can only imagine what we would have paid to watch the girls wrestle in my old school. Course it's most probably not what my dirty mind imagines it would be like. Still, my daughter Kailana went out for the water polo team this year and she took to it like a Powers to water!
I've not much story to include with this post, just that it was true pleasure watching my little girl ( 5'9" at last check) swim, thrash and throw with true spirit and some nascent skill. Her coach is Olympic gold medalist Matt Bondi so she has good guidance. Here are some photos of the last game of the year.
